I am a freelance art director and graphic designer with extensive experience in print and web design. Working with Adobe programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for more than two decades, I have designed logos, postcards, magazines, flyers and other print material.
After three years of studies in Architecture in Carnegie Mellon University, I transferred to SCAD finished my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design in 1998. Since then, I live and work in Bern, Switzerland. For a few years, I worked for a few advertising agencies such as Connector AG, Emoticom AG, Bewegungsmelder AG, Komet AG, and proudMary GmbH — as a designer and art director for both print and screen design.
In 2002, I began to work as a freelancer for clients such as Swisscom, Personalamt des Kantons Bern, AHV-Kassen, BEKB, SP Schweiz, PAGES, Medela AG, politicians, therapists, artists, musicians, doctors, architects, lawyers and restaurants.
With my diverse range of work experience, I enjoy working with clients to both create a company’s entire visual identity, starting from designing a logo, and then designing a visually consistent public promotion through advertising with print material and promotional websites for a strong professional impression and presence. I also enjoy redesigning logos, corporate identities and websites when they need an update or a change. Recently I have had many illustration projects drawing visuals for a variety of themes, games and tutorials.
As a result of my long and varied work in the field, I am connected to a strong network of collaborators and can easily find the right partner for a job, including programmers, illustrators, photographers, or copywriters. Feel free to contact me anytime for your project!
